Celebrating the 4th of July on the 4th of June

Grab the sparkers it's time to celebrate!

Today I found my 4th of July dishes for the first time in Fred Meyer.  How exciting to discover it was an entire end-cap.  From festive cupcake plates to coffee mugs, star shapped bowls and everyday dishes, there is something for everyone.  So if you live near a Fred Meyer store, check it out.

Have a Red-White-and-Blue banner day!

Surtex Trade Show

I LOVE New York City!  I just returned from my annual trek to exhibit at Surtex - a trade show where artists show their work and manufacturers come looking for art.  I met with many current clients and hopefully met some new ones – I'll keep you posted!

One of the best parts of the show is that my sister comes and works with me in my booth-- guaranteed "sister time" each year.  We have a great time and always see a show or two at night.  This year we saw "Curtains" - a new musical starring David Hyde Pierce (he was Niles in the TV Show Frasier) -- very good!  Phantom of the Opera is still a winner for us -- it was my third time and Christine's 4th or 5th -- she has lost count.  :)

This is a picture from our booth.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by!

Be well -- Tara

My very first blog post ... ever!

I did it.  I finally decided to take the plunge into blog land.  So far so good...

Today I am going to use my very first post ever to be thankful.  I'm thankful a lot, but today, I am especially thankful that I have my very own "Super Genius Website Hero".  Do you have one?  I sure hope so because mine has saved me money on tissues and helped me out of quite a few pickles in the past few days.  I've been busy putting together my new online store, www.TaraReedPresents.com, and somehow I put a few bugs in my code, which kept causing my program to freeze and/or quit.  He helped me out -- big time -- and for that I am thankful!

I hope you have wonderful people in your life to turn to when you need a helping hand.  That's it for my first post!
